Piedmont Crossing retirement community in Thomasville recently opened a new dining venue on its campus. Thomasville Mayor Raleigh York Jr., Thomasville Chamber of Commerce President Keith Tobin, and other Chamber representatives joined Piedmont Crossing leadership to officially open the doors to The Crossing Bistro.
The Crossing Bistro, open to the public, also serves residents and staff of the retirement community located at 100 Hedrick Drive in Thomasville. The restaurant is located within the main building and can be easily accessed by entering through the main entrance.
In addition to the 28 seats indoors, the venue offers an additional 12 seats outdoors. The Crossing Bistro is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. The bistro offers casual options such as burgers, wraps, specialty pizzas, sandwiches, and salads.
“When choosing a senior living community, the quality of the dining experience is often one of the most important factors considered,” shared Doug Russell, Executive Director at Piedmont Crossing. “Meal times need to offer good food and a social atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family. We aim to offer that experience at The Crossing Bistro.”
