Piedmont Crossing Thrilled to Welcome The Davidson Singers

May 6, 2019

Piedmont Crossing is excited to welcome The Davidson Singers, a mixed-vocal ensemble, on Thursday, May 9 at 6:30pm on the campus of the retirement community.

Comprised of 22 musicians and vocalists directed by Don Dycolff, The Davidson Singers consists of four sopranos, four altos, three tenors and four bass/baritones supported by a keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. The ensemble will be performing All Over the Place, a concert with many all-time favorites like “God Bless the USA,” “Hooray for Hollywood,” “Basin St. Blues,” “Route 66,” and more.

The Davidson Singers formed from an earlier vocal group, Evening of Music, which was once sponsored by Novant Health. Now known as The Davidson Singers, the group is headquartered in Thomasville with members in and around the Davidson County and Triad region. Thomasville resident Tom Holladay is the founder and producer of The Davidson Singers.

“We are always delighted to perform at Piedmont Crossing. Residents at the community enjoy the genre of music we sing and our lively performances make everyone happy,” stated Holladay.

Reservations to attend are required and may be made by calling Blair White at 336-474-3605.
