Piedmont Crossing to Welcome Award Winning Pianist

Concert pianist Solomon Eichner will perform at Piedmont Crossing on Wednesday, November 16 at 2pm. The public is invited to attend.

Eichner has established himself as a versatile young artist, equally at home with solo repertoire and chamber music. Eichner, a Baltimore native, is known for his commanding performances of the romantic keyboard repertoire including Brahms, Chopin, Liszt, Prokoflev and Rachmanioff.

Eichner has performed at numerous concerts, festivals and prestigious venues throughout the United States and Europe. Earlier this year Eichner performed a debut recital at Carnegie Hall after winning the Golden Key Debut International Piano Competition.  Eichner prides himself of being knowledgeable of the composers' histories, individual compositions and overall music history. He loves to connect and enlighten audiences with the history of his pieces.

A student at the University of South Carolina, Eichner is in his final year of the Doctor of Musical Arts degree program.
